Dear Brave Soul,
Started a few weeks ago, I will continue this weekly project, these spoken words — whether a poem, a prayer, a manifesto, or a soul whisper — to reflect the challenges so many of us are facing. These words are offered as a mirror, a balm, and a reminder: you are not alone. May they validate your pain, honour your resilience, awaken your inner force, and call in the Divine for guidance and intervention.
I vow to never again betray my own truth just to belong.
I release the grip of those who told me how to think, feel, or be.
I no longer carry guilt for the wounds others inflicted.
I refuse to feel shame for surviving what tried to destroy me.
I will not dim my voice for outdated minds.
I will not say yes to what drains me.
I will not settle for systems that treat humans like numbers.
I am not a beggar — I am a builder, a weaver, a force.
I walk away from control, from fear, from financial dependence.
I walk toward light, worth, and spaces where my spirit can breathe.
I honour every tear I have cried — they are sacred, not shameful.
I honour my resilience — it has carried me through the fire.
I honour my loneliness — proof that I gave what others could not.
I claim my right to joy, to rest, to freedom.
I trust the unfolding of my path — even when I can't yet see it.
I am not lost. I am becoming.
This is my vow.
This is my beginning.
If these words resonated with you please share them with somebody who needs them. Until next time, be well.
