Trauma survivors deserve validation

Mental health awareness month - let's raise awareness
6

Welcome

If you were a child caught in the shadows of narcissistic abuse — I see you. Welcome.
If you’ve endured narcissistic abuse in adulthood — you are not alone. Welcome.
If your own family bullied or silenced you — your pain is real. Welcome.
If your workplace became a battlefield instead of a community — you are safe here. Welcome.
If you’ve changed countries and felt the ache of not belonging — you belong here. Welcome.
If you’ve lost friends who couldn't hold space for your wounded soul — this space is yours. Welcome.
If you are someone who wants to ease suffering, to speak truth, to lift others out of the shadows — you are a light. Welcome.
If you believe in God — in any form, in any tradition — may your faith feel at home here. Welcome.

I’ve created this space to raise awareness.
To speak up.
To invite others to do the same — because too many victims of abuse still live in fear, silence, and longing.
Often, it is trauma survivors who are the first to offer compassion, the first to extend kindness — even while hiding their own wounds behind smiles, lipstick, business, or deep listening.

They are the ones who excuse cruelty until their spirit simply can’t anymore.

That’s why I’ve started a YouTube channel called Straight Talk — a place where I speak openly, directly, and compassionately about the realities of trauma, recovery, and the strength it takes to keep going.
It is my way of spreading the word and walking hand in hand with my Substack presence, which I treasure deeply.

I urge you — do use your voice.
Do speak up for those who are silenced.
Do stand for what’s right when you see someone being bullied or abused.
Do not turn away, because one day, it could be you. Or someone you love.

I hope you’ll find my videos thoughtful and supportive.

As a trauma recovery therapist, I will not stop.
I will keep raising awareness. I will keep creating spaces of safety, honesty, and hope.
I will keep standing beside those walking this difficult path — because healing deserves a voice.

Until next time — be well, be safe, and know you are not alone.

Your support means more than just a coffee — it’s a spark of encouragement, a moment of connection, and a gentle reminder that I’m not alone on this creative path. Every gesture like yours helps me keep going, creating, writing, and sharing from the heart.

I’m truly grateful you’re part of this journey. May your days be filled with light, inspiration, and moments of peace.

More Than a Sob Story: Why Our Truth Matters

It’s a sunny day in my part of the world, and between trauma recovery coaching, some self-care, and a bit of foraging in my area, I took time to read a few fascinating Substack posts.Soul to soul stories is a reader-supported publication.
