Lots to reflect on here. I have not done any extensive traveling but there are places I hope to one day visit and learn about. When the opportunity arises I will do so mindfully. At this time I am unable to travel very far so I practice finding what I seek - the feeling and experience of learning, opening my mind, broadening my perspective and connecting where and how I can. In the process I have found so much to appreciate locally in ways that feel supportive and sustainable. There is a vast treasure trove right in my backyard.
Such a tender, loving message—thank you. It truly feels like it came from a mindful heart.
I'm planning to write a series of short pieces rooted in travel, trauma, connection, curiosity, and generosity—threads that have shaped my path and spirit.
Though I can’t travel at the moment (a long story in itself), this pause has gifted me something precious: the chance to step back, observe, and reflect. In stepping out of the matrix—at least for a while—I’ve come to see that quantity is never a substitute for quality. There’s quiet power in slowness, and depth in simplicity.
