Dear Shasheen thank you so much for your comment. It took me a while to give myself permission to slow down and enjoy nature no matter what! It is a transformative process! So glad you are on this path!
What is nature...we tamper so much that what we often see is nature conquered by humans...dominated by humans. ... this does not give me peace. Today Mum and i went to the Retreat Animal Sanctuary near Ashford. This ramshackled safe sanctuary for animals and wildfowl rescued from the trauma of an abattoir, taken in as injured, felt like a slice of heaven to me...I was surrounfed by animals and wild fowl living with people that honoured their animalness and honoured their wildfowlness....it moved me to tears. When this happens to me I believe I have experienced something of what God wants..God wants us to live in harmony and respect with all of creation. Despite our religions preaching it...it does not happen.
My Bahai faith teaches...“Dost thou reckon thyself only a puny form, When within thee the universe is folded?" Baha'u'llah. The Muslim faith says very similarly...so we are part of the universe. How God must weep for creation...I felt like weeping at the sanctuary...which was nevertheless a slice of peace for me...a slice of Heaven on Earth
Dear Liz what a blessed moment it must have been for you and Mum! Such spaces remind us about what matters most humanity and an appreciation for all God’s creation. We live in times where talk is most of what we get. In Romania we say … talk is cheap. Interestingly enough on a different level the ones who talk about worthwhile causes are paid handsomely to deliver words … to talk as if the world needs more talking. Much love to you and mum!
Very validating to read your words. It’s the only thing that has consistently worked for me. 🙏

Beautiful! I felt like I took a nature walk just looking at your beautiful photos!
Delighted to read your words dear Juliette! I would love to meet an owl in the forest! It would remind me of your beautiful painting!
I love that! We have a pair living in the woods around our house right now ✨🦉
