Loving messages in a jar -reclaim yourself one tiny message at a time
Caring for your soul in micro messages
When times get tough, and you find yourself being overly critical, when life seems overwhelming, when confusion sets into your mind, it's time to pause, connect with your breath, slow down, rest deeply and re-learn to appreciate and love the essence of YOU.
If you're on a recovery journey from narcissistic abuse, bullying or trauma, it's essential to turn inward and connect with your guardian angels, the divine, or the supportive friends on the other side.
I have a suggestion .. actually a practice I used to be dedicated to a few years ago and started again a few days ago.
Here we are - a “Loving messages for my soul” jar.
Where do you start? What is this all about?
Create a daily ritual to nurture yourself:
Pick up a jar - a pretty one if you have or any jar available.
Decorate it if you're feeling creative!
Brew your favourite cup of coffee, tea, or maybe something a little stronger! 😀
Pull an oracle card.
Light your favourite candle.
Take a few minutes to meditate and center yourself.
Then, begin writing loving messages for your soul—messages from your fabulous inner support club! One day it might be only one, the other day a couple or more. Go with the flow!
Who knows, this could be your new favourite self-care habit.
What are we going to do with the messages in the jar? I have a few ideas
Here are a few meaningful ways you can use the positive messages stored in your glass jar:
🦋 Scrapbook -Turn the messages into a scrapbook or journal by pasting each one onto a page with your thoughts or photos. This becomes a beautiful keepsake of your healing journey.
🦋 Vision Board - Combine the messages with inspiring images to create a vision board, keeping your positive affirmations and dreams within sight every day.
🦋 Background for your next hand painted journal or diary.
These are just a few random ideas and they might help you not only stay connected to your positive thoughts but also share that energy with others!
Until next time, be well!
