Daily musings with a pen, a journal and a few juicy pens
Notes are moments in time - daily drawings
A writing and drawing practice starts with a few lines and a few words! There is no need to write a long piece if you don t feel like it or have no time! Simply record what is in that moment when you have a pencil in your hand and a journal in front of you!
First drawing in 10 days! Or less, or more! The words that came to my mind while drawing were … feel .. no clue why as I definitely feel pain in my body! Organising events = long long hours on site and = standing, running around like a yo-yo for 12-16 hours a day! Hardly any time to remember who you are let alone resting or writing or drawing. What is left behind is a sense of satisfactions and…. pain! Musings on a bank holiday Monday!
Encouraging you to draw! Who cares if the drawing is … amazing! Or not! How about drawing … for the sake of drawing! Drawing as a mindfulness exercise … you will slow down, your breathing will slow down and time will simply disappear!
Intertwined … past, present, future
Early rise … in Denmark… experiencing moments of hugge with a book I recommend! Even silence is different here!
Yesterday I listened to an interesting talk about … some mushrooms, about the way our ancestors used them to understand the world and connect with the divine! My hand was moving on the page guided by …… the muse????? Intuitive drawing .. is magical!
Colours and symbols work hand in hand … we all paint, draw because of various reasons … sometimes because we want to forget, sometimes because we want to remember, sometimes because we want to cry, or celebrate or ….
What is peace of mind? Feeling safe? Having a loving family around? Being financially stable? Being healthy? Sometimes, peace of mind comes in tiny instalments like drawing and colouring in! Those moments represent … peace of mind!
Intuitive drawing is followed by intuitive colouring in …colour is energy, colour feeds our soul, colour restores our inner balance after challenging days in the office. An invitation to pick up your pencils and juicy pens.
Talking to the inner child - whispering sweet words, the ones she has never heard before!
When one writes or paints or draws one cannot but be authentic. The canvas, the paper, is always there, encouraging you to tell it as it is!
Back to drawing! Actually back to finishing the lines! Yesterday night I was trying to get rid of some life worries! Getting rid? Bitter laughing really! However I was able to step in the cocoon of peace and continue a line and then another one! This is what happens, this is what this process does! Helps you carry on!
A friend of mine mentioned a few words I resonate with 100%! If somebody tells me that I have created my life I will turn on my heals and wish the unexpected .. to happen to them! I was drawing the Buddha and musing … so so many people are on high horses and like to pontificate nowadays … planning my next blog entry 🥹
Lovely, lovely pieces as usual Karina
